Mish runs
I just had Gates of Madness run for me and it really wasn't a run at all. Can the people "running" actually solo the mission or do you and the rest of the party just pay them to show you the way while you kill the monsters?

in my knowlege there are very few mission that can be run acually. i know of only one in factions (minister cho's) but it is too eazy to really bother. there is one in prop too but otherwise i beleive that "running" is jusit showing what to do and helping

you can run people by just going with 3 heros and 3 hench and letting them AFK, but no one does it.

yes this mission can be run your runner was lazy. you do have to point the people where they have to stand but they shouldn't have to fight

If I'm being "run" for anything I won't help in any way unless it's an emergency. They're getting paid they should be able to hack it.

You can H/H every mission in all the games with ease, why people choose to pay for something so easy is beyond me. I spend a lot of my time just helping people with missions, its better to teach then to give people a free ride.

If you have to interact in any way other than with the trade box it's not a run.
If I'm in a good mood and/or bored and the runner is nice or at least acting decent then I'll help if it's down to doing that or fail. |

There are a few missions that can be run (meaning one person, maybe with heroes does all the work while you /dance at the start or go /taunt the monsters) but mostly, when referring to missions, a "run" means that somebody else does the mission with a full H/H party while you sit there. Some missions require participation of more than one human, so it's either you or a friend of the runner.
Some solo-able run missions: Elona reach, doable with a bunch of run builds (Ranger, Dervish, Assasin) Sanctum Cay, probably the bonus as well, although it's a lot slower that way, and you risk the ghost getting blocked. The Bonus in Bloodstone Fen. Mission itself needs a lot of fighting, but you can run the bonus separately. You just need some self-heals and some run skills. There are a bunch of others throughout the campaigns, but these are the most popular ones. Well, at least Elona Reach and SC. |

I saw a guy just yesterday in Gate of Madness advertising running the mission for 5k, but he said he needed help with Shiro. He was promptly laughed at and ridiculed by everyone that was there.
