Yes, it will break your account, brainz and keyboard. Throw it out in a 2.5" disc before it devour us all!!
Seriously, at least 50% of users tried TexMod and it didn't kill us/them. |

It simply edits textures as they go into Guild Wars. It cannot harm anything. If you get an error, typically minimizing the game and them maximizing it again cures it. You may have to do it a few times. If something very bad happens, close the game and restart. If the problem persists, the mod file (.tpf) you are using is probably corrupt. Just get a new version of it.
In short, it is fine. Use and enjoy it.

I just started using Texmod and I haven't had any serious problems yet.
The worst is that sometimes I'll load into an area and all I'll see is brown with the UI overlayed on it, but a rezone usually fixes it. Also, it causes some weird shadowing glitches, but nothing that "breaks" the game. I wouldn't use it all the time, but for mapping, it's golden! |

I have had several rendering issues with it making it harder and harder for me to see the map every time I click "m". Rezoning sorts it out every time though.
No crashes and no key-loggers and what have you! Make sure you get it from one of the addresses found here on the forum, they should be safe. |

Texmod has existed since the game Tomb Raider. As long as you download it from a safe sit, you'll be fine.
Also, be warned, some virus scanners (MacAfree) falsely identify texmod as a trojan virus, since it is a program that modifies another program. |

It is safe, I know at least 30 people who used it, not one had his/her account stolen.

Texmod is perfectly safe, but if you want to be cautious run a virus check on it first, download from a safe site and ONLY download tpf's if they have .tpf as the end when downloading. Example: catrography_cantha.tpf = Alright catrography_cantha.zip = Could be bad Have a fun time with Texmod and remember to surf safe! |
