Default Guildwars internet data transfer

Hi...I have got a new laptop and tried running GW on it via a 3G mobile phone connection. To my surprise it ran superbly.

I have "unlimited" data allowance, but with a fair use policy. Does anyone have a rough idea of how much data will be transferred over the connection in an hour of playing Guildwars?

Depends if you have -imaged already and it doesn't need to D/L anymore. The rest I couldn't tell you.

not much, you'll be fine. something like a couple of KB's, providing you have everything pre-downloaded

I would make sure you run a -image with a connection other than the 3G one to download all the files because that will take a lot of bandwidth. You should probably repeat this after any update. To check how much bandwidth you are using ingame, add a -perf tag to the .exe file and it will show up at all times.

GW was made to run on dial-up. So long as you are not downloading pieces of the .dat, I don't think you have anything to worry about.
