Finish buying the campaigns or buy the PvP kit. - Guild Wars Forums

As the title says, I'm wondering if I should buy the 3 remaining campaigns I'm missing (EotN, Factions, Prophcies) or if I should simply buy the PvP Access Kit, which gives me PvP access to all the skills and classes in the games. I'm not much of a roleplay guy, so the only reason I hesitate to buy is that I might miss something that I would want. To my knowledge, everything can be unlocked through spending Faction, correct?

EDIT: I guess I could also buy the PvP item unlock kit to get anything I would be missing.

In my opinion, it's best to buy at least one campaign so you learn how to play the class before giving PvP a try.

If you don't enjoy PvE then the campaigns will probably be of little worth to you. I would suggest getting the PvP packs since that'll be where you spend your time.

Buy the campaigns. PvP only goes so far, and even if your not a roleplay guy, killing monsters always give some satisfaction.

PvP doesn't "only go so far" like PvE does. There is never a definite end to it. It's why PvP games are easier to be timeless (hellot StarCraft, CS 1.6, etc.).

oh and to add yes everything can be unlocked with faction if you own the campaign to begin with
