Weapons...
Ok well, I see alot of people go like "WTS Perfect 25^26 Q4 stormbow" (just an example, i don't even know if that exists, lol.)
What's with that? Q4 = requires4 marksmanship? What's 25^26 then? In other words, would someone explain me the 'terminology' of weapons... or whatever you'd like to call it... |

im not 100% sure but the x^x is usually mod%^chance%.... we'll use a damage mod for example damage +15%^20% of the time. i think your right with the Q although i never got why they used Q for requirements i always thought it would be R

I think you mean something
as "WTS Q9 15^50 blah blah blah Q9 means Req. 9 15^50 is a inscription called Strength and Honor which gives a 15% more damage when your health is over 50% Hence it being called 15^50. |

Some weapons have +15 dmg whilst over 50% health....they slim it down to 15^50, likewise other weapons have +15dmg whilst under 50% health...this becomes 15v50.
hope this answers your question. |

The real problem is the lack of space, ie length of text, we are given to post sale items in the Search Window.
This forces people to change a post like: WTS Max Gold Vampiric Flameberge 15^50(non-inscribed) Req 9 +30HP for xx To: WTS Sword R9 15^50Vamp30HP-XX |

Also, I think that they use q instead of r to alleviate confusion with the ranger class?
Although they do use r when talking about ursan requirements in Olafstead for farming... |

Me and my old guild always referred to Req as Quality, hence me using Q o.O, I kinda though that's why every-one did that.

Quote:
a) q is a way cooler letter than r b) some people do think r automatically means ranger c) some people also mistake r for rank, such as your ursan comment (rank 10 is r10) All that said, nobody should mistake a r9 sword for anything other than a sword with a requirement of 9. As for referring to req as quality, I'd never heard of it referred to as that but at least now I have an excuse to say |

I always thought the the "Q" may come from "reQuirement". If not, it does help in remembering, for me.
