Kurzick or Luxon? - Page 2 - Guild Wars Forums

Here is a question. My character is a Tyrian character....Prophecies. My guild is Luxon. I want to gain Luxon cred so I can get the special Luxon only special skill. How does it work for characters who are not Canthan? I have done the quests at Lion's Arch and gone to Cantha as well.

^^The exact same as it works for a Canthan character - once you're past Vizunah Square (first mission for a Tyrian character) the game is the exact same for a Tyrian/Canthan/Elonian character. If you want to be Luxon, go through the game until you do both sides' missions (Arborstone and Boreas Seabed), then "become" Luxon by gaining 10,000 Luxon Faction and taking it to Cavalon.

who really cares what you pick, if u look at Kurzick and Luxons u look at Muslims and Jewish

Hav same beliefes just dont get along

Kurzick/Luxon-Against Shiro and to protect cantha

Jewish/Muslim-Dont eat pig and follow many other things identically

Ok, now a thread in another direction here: when do you have to start working on the other faction? I have earned my 10k in kurzick, when should/must I start on the luxon?

I followed the Luxon missions till I finished factions then went back to the break point for Kurzik/Luxon and chose Kurzic got the points to equal the Luxon points and followed their missions and opened up their cities.

Funny, I heard the Kurzicks were all bloodsucking Goth-gays.

But seriously, as has been said - there is no real reason to "choose" either one. Get the 10,000 points for one side - trade it in for amber/jade and then get the 10,000 points for the other side. Other than being on a particular side for GvG it makes no matter. And it makes no difference which one you Guild or Alliance is, you can still do both.

And let me state this yet again - you don't "become" Luxon or Kurzick, you simply ally yourself with one or the other. You are still Tyrian/Cantha/Elonan no matter which way you go, and (spoiler alert) you all become one big happy family at the end.

(P.s. - the first alliance I was in was Luxon. The current one is Kurzick. But I don't GvG and spend most of my time in Nightfall, Prophecies, and EotN anyway, so it really doesn't matter to me.)
