Is there still a point in leveling paragon?
I see hardly any one levels paragon anymore. I have played most of Nightfall with my dervish now and I did all the missions with groups, Never ran into a paragon..I am wondering why..and if paragon has become a worthless class? Is it still worth leveling? Because I actually want to play a support class once i am done with my Dervish a Buff/DD is actually just what I was looking for in paragon. But If its become useless and no 1 will party with it now due to this new skill ever 1 wants to nerf, then Idk, Im a bit confused, I see so little paragons around now so I am really wondering whats up?

paragon > pve
most people in the game are idiots, that is why people hate pugs so much on this forum. go ahead and make a paragon, even if you don't use the omg stupidly over powered skills you will breeze through pve. |

They are good if you know how to use them, people just go ugh they can't deal damage (when their DPS is actually higher than a wars without skills) and thus noone wants them.

If you like playing a support class, I don't see anything wrong with a paragon. Play what you like. Don't look at what other like. Just my 2 cents.

Yeah I guess i will try it out, I personally see nothing wrong with it at all, or any class, Each is just different from the next but they are all good in their own way im sure. Its just a matter of figuring out how to play it properly. I just hope people do team up with me though lol. It would be lame to PvE the entire story alone

why would you want to join a party anyways?
all the idiots who try to play para fail before they leave istan. all the people who dont suck dont waste time joining pugs. |

paragons + pve skills = god mode for team
paragons can make dmg in HM seem laughable when they can reduce dmg down to nothing for the whole party. This includes people under ursans so i would say, yes there is still a place for paragons in this ursanage future :-) Last edited by duckboy; Jul 12, 2008 at 06:19 PM // 18:19.. |

paragons with its imbagon build just gives so much support to the team, reducing the dmg to mere nothing is wat a paragon can do best

Paragons, like all other classes, are only as good as the human playing them.
With the correct builds they are lots of fun and extremely usefull in any party for any mission/quest/dungeon. They work well in PvE and PvP. In the end it all comes down to one simple questiong.... Are you having fun playing that profession? If you answer yes, keep playing if not time for a change. |

play what you want to play---dont worry about what everyone else is doing. I still see lots of paragons playing all three chapters. Maybe you just are playing at the off-paragon time

Paragon is the ultimate support class and can breeze through HM PvE. Most PUGs don't know how valuable a paragon is to any party. Play a paragon if you think u'll have fun and enjoy it.

I like paragons they pump out a lot of consistent damage and spears are really cool in my opinion. I would definitely make a pve paragon.

Even without running Imbagon there's no reason not to take a human Paragon. A ranged warrior (80AL) with an unstrippable IAS - not to mention ability to keep up indefinitely - is more than imbalanced enough without getting into the damage reduction skills.
