One Year Since I've Played, eep!
well I'm new to this forum, but not to the game. I played soildly for about 2 month's last year but then my internet keep going funny, so I had to drop the game again, hopefully it will be fine now, so I'm takeing it back up as I miss it.
I played GWP and really enjoyed it, I've recently done a games run and brought the rest, F/N/EotN. I'm really looking forword to getting back into it, but I'm also dreadding it to some extent, I'm going to have to re-learn everything I've forgotten and I can forsee very little sleep in my near furture lol. Anywa's since I've been out of the loop for a year I figoured I'd better see what I've missed. Jareth. Last edited by JarethLaFay; Jul 29, 2008 at 10:49 AM // 10:49.. |

Ursan and shadowform killed the economy, aNet butchered shadowform, and presumably will be doing the same to ursan within the month. Unless they lie, again.
GW2 was announced, and we have yet to hear a single blip of.. well.. anything since. A lot of drastic skill changes (shadowstepping was nerfed), the zaishen chest (basically you trade in 5k balthazar faction for a key, the key opens the chest which contains random stuff), and that's just about it. |

It's a new game. The PvE went to shit after Eye of the North was released, with infinite grind, ridiculously overpowered PvE-only skills, and "godmode for 30 minutes!" consumables.
The community is the same as it's always been, though: infinitely complaining farmers whining whining whining whining about bad drops and skill nerfs. Welcome back. |

Welcome Back.
Not too much happened. GW is still going quite well, although there are less updates. The whinining stayed at the forums, because players always want things different and when the one half is happy, the other half goes qq. Silavor gives a good example of the latest happenings. Good news is that the Hall of monuments is going to be fixed soon, if you care about that... |

Instead of putting together a team of 7 henchmen and hitting tab spacebar to win, you can now use 3 heroes and 4 henchmen in order to hit tab spacebar to win.
they also added an autotarget feature so you can just hit spacebar now to win. then they added hardmode so that you have to put a little thought into your group build before going out and hitting spacebar to win. edit: Oh yeah, and apparently a terribly catastrophic addition of things-to-do that seems to really irritate the posting player base. As you can see above, the players are the same as always. Last edited by Voltar; Jul 29, 2008 at 01:12 PM // 13:12.. |

Ckeck the official wiki's update notes and dev. notes and you're up to date.
At least those are complete and without personal opinions. |
