Well, I was wondering what "certain areas" means in the log on screen in reguards to vanquishing weekend? What certain areas are going to be double vanquishing points. Because having just done a Vabbi area it dosen't seem to be a double vanquish area. We killed 166 got 1660 gold, I thought that was normal, but if that was double please let me know? Does anyone know for sure what areas do work for this weekend?

normal gold for vanquishing is 5 times the number of enemies - you got 10 so it was double normal reward.

Never tried, but I would assume you get nothing for areas in the Realm of Torment, or places without a mappable area like Hidden City of Adhashim. But as noted, you did get double the reward, as you got 10g per kill, and not the normal 5g per kill.

You can vanquish the Hidden City and get a cash reward for vanquishing.

Anywhere that counts towards Vanquishing Title is affected by the event.
