Hero adjustments?
I know how to setup their skills and such, and I know that I can change their weapon and shield, but what about their armor? I mean, can I ever find better armor for them? How about things like infusion if I want them to run the mursaat missions back in Prophecies??

Heros are automagically infused, their armour goes up with their level as well. You can get hero armour 'upgrades' which change the armour's apperance, and of course you can fully rune them.

Heroes come infused so you don't have to worry about that.
You can't make hero armour "better" in terms of rating. The AL of their armour will improve as they level up to 20. You can improve hero armour with insignia and runes, just like you can your own armour. You can change the appearance of hero armour using armour remnants, e.g. Cloth of the Brotherhood. You can get these from certain challenge missions and from the chest from beating Duncan. EDIT: *sighs* Tatile beat me to it. Last edited by Lyssa Mac; Aug 02, 2008 at 09:24 PM // 21:24.. |

What had me curious was that when viewing my warrior, it said something like AL23~38, but I know my old-school warrior character has AL80 armor. What does the range mean then? I thought it was the range for that piece of armor, as in it would be 23 at lv1 and 38 at lv5 or lv10 or something. If that isn't it, what does the range affect? 38 armor against some mobs and 23 against others?
I may have just screwed up. I was playing with the secondary profession for my warrior hero, but now the option for just "Warrior" is gone. If I want him to be a plain warrior, is there any way to get him back that way? Last edited by Commander Ryker; Aug 03, 2008 at 12:27 AM // 00:27.. |

There is no way to get them back to just their primary, only use warrior skills for the same effect.

the armor range is the amount of armor your hero get at lv1 to lv20

I know I don't have to use secondary stuff, I just liked the plain old "W" instead of "W/x". No biggy though. I just wish I wasn't lv10 or I'd simply recreate the guy and get it back to normal. Thanks for the help though, this is looking to be a HECK of a lot more fun than the game with retarded henchies or puggers.

Also... you can't destroy your hero armor. So if you want to change a rune or insignia, you don't need to worry about using a perfect salvage kit.
