Does anyone know if Ancient Recurve Bows dye and if so, what parts?

I checked both wikis but they had no info on it.

I picked up an ancient hornbow and was able to dye it so I can't imagine it'd be different for a recurve. The part that dyed on my bow was the actual shaft of the bow.
