Cosmetic changes... bugs?
Hi guys. Okei so I created new account (newbie on GW), and I played a character, I joined a guild and then I created a new character, which was automaticly in that guild as well. So then I deleted that first character, and the problems are...
In character choose window (before the game), there is an empty slot on 1. place, and that curent character is on 2. slot. Can I somehow move it to 1. slot..? Purely cosmetic thing. And then when I press 'g' in a game, I still see that I have that deleted character in a guild. There is a name of my current character, and if I go with my mouse on that, there appears that I also have that deleted chararcter.. wtf? I know it might be minor probs, but still... Is there any solution? |

after you enter your log in information and you get to your character selection screen, all the way to the top left corner of your screen should be a bar that will let you arrange your characters by Alphabetical name and by pve/pvp types. However u cannot manually move them around, for ex. move character #1 to #5 spot, #4 to #1, etc.
The reason your deleted characters name still shows up besides your new characters name in the guild roster is because you were sent an invitation to the old character and that is how it "knows" you. now if you leave the guild and get a reinvite with character #2, the next time you log on with say character #3 that characters name will be there with #2's name in parenthesis right next to it. Thats my best way of explaining it, sorry if i confused you or anyone else reading this |

For the character selection screen, you could try using the sorting options - a little drop down menu in the upper left of the screen - to change the order of the character slots. At worst, you could make a new character (which you could use just for storage) and give it a name that starts with "Z" and use an alphabetic sort.
Unfortunately, the name you originally joined the Guild with, will continue to show up on the Guild roster, even if you delete the character. I learned that the hard way. One possible way around that would be to quit the Guild and rejoin with a character you plan to keep. I would think that would work, but I've never actually tried it. The only thing that would change would be some stats to do with when you joined the Guild. |
