There are very good and valid builds for Swords AND Axes as well as Hammers. I personally prefer Axe builds, but many prefer Sword builds, and some even prefer Hammers. To put it simply, choose what you like the look of best. Any max damage weapon will work, if you put the right mods on it. The important thing is creating an effective build (skill bar). There are some good builds in the Campfire Thread of this forum.
*forget Ursan, or if you "must" have it, wait until you learn how to play the game the way it was meant to be before you go and ruin it* |

EDIT: I assumed you posted this Warrior question in the Warrior forum. That's the sticky you'll need to read.

Do not do Ursan, or you are gonna kill a cat! Everytime everyone going for Ursan, God kills a cat!
With that aside, Please DO each other a favor by getting all the sword and axe skills you are interested in using then get your own judgement. Opinion, Go for a sword if you want constant pressure in PvP, dmg range is not leaving too big of a gap. Sword is cooler the skins and the overall appearance on your chara. Sword can dish out decent dmg EVEN when you are not take up your ELITE slot yet (perfect for your Ursan need, if you decided to kill a cat >.>). Go for Axe if you like Deep Wound, cause theirs is UN-conditional. PvP = Axe for crits and spiking purpose. Axe build generally need an elite to be called a good axe build. Thats it for now.. >.> hope that help. |
