Hotkey for Dismissing Enchantments
i haven't found a way to do it and don't know if there is, but i was wondering if anyone know if you can program a hotkey to dismiss maintained enchantments. it would be very nice to get rid of holy veil with a button instead of using the mouse. i'm beginning to think that you can't though.

OP never mentioned anything about using only the mouse. He wants to see if there something like a hotkey for dismissing maintainable enchantments.
I've been thinking the same thing but haven't found anything yet. For now, I just made it so that the upkeeps pop up right below my character. Since Holy Veil is the only maintainable enchantment I ever use, it'll be the only thing that pops up on below my character. Also, I use keyboard to target party members and mouse to kite, which means my mouse will usually be hanging around my character, making it pretty handy to anticipate holy veil to pop up so I can dismiss it immediately. |

This wouldn't be a bad idea for anet to implement. They made it so we can make heroes use certain skills upon demand why not for dismissing enchants.

i agree this will make monking very easier, specially if your a bonder and you bond someone temporarily, you have to look thorough all the icons to find out which one belongs to the temp so you can dismiss it.

Yes that is a pain and can result in a death, normally mine as my energy regen I take the enchants off to recharge faster and hen put them back on. Kinda redundant to put the enchant on the same person twice. Why does it allow that as well?

Maintained enchantments aren't numbered when you put them on so to add a new hotkey to dismiss enchant #1,2,3 etc wouldn't really work. I'm all for the idea but this is not the place for /signing.

its possible with autohotkey ,i think it would be something like this:
X:: (x=a key u want as a hotkey) MouseMove,x,y (x,y=coordinates where your enchant is) sleep 100 click 2 return |

Even the above, however, would only remove the Enchantment at x,y - which may or may not be the one you want. So, you'd have to make up several of them to cover at least the first few x,y points.

I always would have loved a little symbol to appear next to the players name in the 'group/party list', so you can instantly see who has your maintained monk enchantments or not. |

Binding to coordinates would be doing essentially the same thing. Key1 has the X/Y for Ench1, Key2 has the X/Y for Ench2 etc. I think binding keys to click on X/Y is reasonable and a good way to do it. For myself, I just have the Enchantments stack up vertically next to skill 8 (or 4 and 8 depending on if you have a single row of skills or two rows of four skills) and then make skill 8 (or 4 and 8) your Enchantments you would frequently be casting and then removing. |
