I think this is showing people how to get free access to EOTN. I already reported this video to ArenaNet.

Is it illegal and does it really work?

P.S. This is a video AFTER the update of yesterday.

I'm pretty sure you don't get access to anything other than empty maps and non-functioning portals. So its not really a problem.

it's realy not a big deal they can explore like a tiny bit of an area and thats it.

There is a thread in Riverside discussing this glitch. It's harmless because you have only an empty map area. You can look around but not leave the area and there is nothing with which to interact.
