Question on tonics for people who follow the market...
Do everlasting tonics tend to go up in price after they rotate out (and get further away from their rotation month)? Or are ever-phantasmals just more expensive than others because they're cool?
Basically, is it more dependant on time or the appearance? |

Yes, they do tend to go up in price after they stop dropping
and Yes, Phantasmals are just more cool So, answer is both (can't determine which is more) |

Well, it depends on time AND appearance... heres how i predict the market will move. First the new tonic starts dropping, it will start out high, regardless of appearance, then level off at around 100e-150e, maybe more. Eventually they will stop dropping and the price is then determined by how "good looking" the item is. About a month in the prices really shift. I.E. Boreal is worth 70e(lower) whereas the phantasmal is worth 200e(higher). heir price is determined solely on appearance.
Now this is my assumption. Being very predictable, im assuming that the market will take a pit fall before the cycle goes back, meaning that the phantasmal tonic will be worth a LOT less when they start dropping off again. But hey, i could be wrong, don't quote me... |
