Inverted Dyes
Uh I was just on, and for the first time I saw someone who had the other part of his armour dyed. The part the armor was normally dyed gray in was Silver, and the outside metal which was usually silver was dyed gold.
Is this some special kind of armor, or is it actually possible to dye the other parts of armor? |

Different armors are affected in different ways by dye. Some just the trim dyes and with others you can dye large areas.
Check out the Armor Art pages in the wiki. That will show you the dyable area for each armor. http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Armor_art http://guildwars.wikia.com/wiki/Armor_types

It was Warriors Templar Armor
I know what the dye components look like because I have the same armor on my warrior. The part of the Armor which is always silver was gold. And the Centerpiece (the dye location normally) was silver. So normal Templar Armor is Silver and theres a component in the middle you can dye. But this person had the silver part gold. I don't have a screenshot sadly. |

If it was the female armour, could it have been the Female Deldrimor armour that you saw?
They both use the same model mesh. |

This. Some armors have reskins that have the same model, but different details (and different dyable areas). |
