PvP...Confused
I've just created a PvP Char to do some PvP'ing but it seems I'm quite limited and Tombs isn't even an option? Then I had a look when I next started GW up and there is an option to BUY access to PvP!?
Could anybody explain this to me please because last time I played, you created a PvP Char and could do everything possible in terms of PvP, without having to unlock it or buy it (which is still shocking me). Thanks in advance! |

I found the wiki page, that will explain it better since I never had to unlock any of the arenas. http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Battle_Isles

You need something like 5 consec wins in ra to unlock ta and 5 consec wins there to unlock ha now.
So if you never pvpd make a new character, hit m and go to ra. |

You don't "buy it" but you do have to unlock stuff now on new accounts.
And PvP has all been rearranged to the Battle Isles. Tomes (now called HA), RA, TA, and Hero Battles are all on the same map. So while it may look like you are "restricted" really everything is just easier to access. They did this so people who only own one of the games wouldn't have to travel to the original map just to play PvP. |
