Stormweaver, if you have ever done Fort Aspenwood, you have earned Balthazar Faction. Press H to bring up your Hero panel and see if you have any. You can earn it at a fair rate by fighting in Fort Aspenwood, then go to your guild hall when you have 3,000 and unlock the skill by talking to the Priest of Balthazar.
After that you can purchase or trade another player for an Elite Assassin Tome and obtain the skill for your character.

But it would probably just be easier to PvP for 3k Balthazar faction then pay 5-10k for an elite tome. Not remembering wrong, I still remember the dialogue mess up of the luxon guard calling my male sin and male war a "she." And I am not confused. I suppose, it was just a bug. |

the question to you is...why COULDNT a luxon cap it? faction has NOTHING to do with PVE what so ever....follow your primary quests and you'll find yourself doing kurzick quests and missions. (btw you cant even get certain titles without going to the kurzick side) Kurzick/Luxon really only have to do with guilds and alliance battle NOTHING else involves them. (other then the story it self it really has nothing to do with you as a luxonnor or as you the player of the game)

Just so I'm sure, you can befriend the Luxons AND the Kurzicks? There is no issue doing that? It won't affect my being in a Luxon guild?

The only way to remove your Luxon alignment is for your guild leader to change it.
The guild leader would need to remove the guild from any alliance and then go to Kurzick Ambassador (NPC) and pay 500 gold to change the guild's allegiance. If you don't belong to a guild, then you would need to visit the ambassador and pay the fee. This allegiance can be switched back and forth as desired. The only thing that is affected is AB and Faction Donations.

What guild you are in has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with being able to enter either territory, get armor from either side, choose either story line of the campaign or even getting the pve skills from lux/kurz or anything else with pve.
(If, however, you are going to use one of the faction npcs, such as armor maker, you do have to have more their faction unspent than of the other side. but that is the only difference faction makes in pve.) Not only can you befriend both, you can actually do both at the same time. For instance, in Pongmai Valley there is a kurz shrine and a lux shrine. Get the blessings from each (you will have to pay 100g extra to the one you have less unspent points for) and you will get points for Both sides at the same time plus have the extra armor bonus from each. This is also handy for vanquishing and farming the area since you have double armor bonuses. Since you are already at harvest temple, I would not recommend this method because you have obviously already done the Luxons. But it is handy if you start a new char and want to do both storylines at the same time. But the point is they really don't affect each other in any way except that when you actually spend your points you will lose the same amount from the unspent points on the other side. Anyway, the point is, go ahead and befriend the Kurz - it won't affect your luxon guild one bit. Last edited by Tom Swift; Oct 13, 2008 at 11:09 PM // 23:09.. |

So I now have 10k kurzick faction points but the allegiance person will not talk to me.
Do I need to quit my luxon guild, speak to the kurzick allegiance person, then rejoin my guild to befriend the kurzicks? Or am I speaking to the wrong person to befriend the Kurzicks? |

An NPC in Maatu Keep offers you Journey to House Zu Heltzer and Journey to Cavalon quests.
Once Journey to House Zu Heltzer is in your log, speak to the Juggernaut NPC in Altrumm Ruins and he'll let you in HzH. You can then progress through the Echovald Forest to cap Moebius. You don't have to speak to an Allegiance NPC to hand over your faction. Speak to Count Zu Heltzer and he'll give you the quest that requires 10k Kurzick faction. Huh? Speak the Juggernaut NPC in AR to befriend the Kurzicks? Not sure what you mean.
Already have been to HzH and all areas south except I cannot get in to Eternal Grove. |

Speak to the Count. He will recognize that you have completed the quest Befriending the Kurzicks and offer you Defenders of the Forest.
That quest completion (bringing three NPCs to Eternal Grove) is your key to opening the gates at The Eternal Grove. http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/The_D..._of_the_Forest By the way, you can cash in your Kurzick faction for amber now, though you might want to keep some until you have finished in Echovald so the merchants will talk to you.

Actually, to properly answer your original question - no, a Luxon cannot cap that skill, the Kurzicks would kill him and I don't think NPCs can cap anyway.
However, you, as a Tyrian/Canthan/Elonian who is allied with the Luxons, can indeed cap the skill. Just don't tell the Kurzicks oyur allied with the Luxons. |

Lol quaker is funny, yes?
This is a common question because before you have done the game and seen the effects later on,picking one or the other seems a decision thats unalterable and sets you permanently. |
