Hi from another Kiwi player.
About finding people to play with - it comes down to time zones. US and European players are on at different times to us. Perhaps you could find an Australian based guild, who play in a time frame closer to us (see the guild recruitment section here on guru forums). Plus, with server hops so incredibly easy, you can always jump between Europe, US, and International districts to find players. |

Although the time difference may be more of an issue for you (I'm in the UK), but I nearly always play on US zones, as there nearly always seems to be people wherever I am on those servers and whatever time I'm playing.

I'm a Australian player, and I play on American districts. There's quite a few more people, at almost any hour. Better ping then European districts too.

One of our officers is based in Australia and she plays the Asian Servers a lot (and I mean - a lot!) - try looking out for Zappa Zenovka.

I'd say that American districts are the way to go. Everyone is up at all hours of the day so I don't think it'll matter much once your on. People will just be complaining about being tired more.

well i have reached level 10 and only grouped with real people once??
how far can you go in the game without grouping i have been using the AI characters Also when do you go to dungeon type instances? i havent had any quests to go in them or even go and find them also gear... i have made the stuff from the amour vendor but havent seen anything else at all i am guessing you have to go to dungeons to get upgrades. lots more dodgy questions to come |

You can complete the game using just Hero's and Henchmen (AI characters).
The Dungeons are in Eye of the North, depending on what campaign you're playing, you will be able to get to them sooner or later (Assuming you also have Eye of the North). Every campaign has 'Elite' missions/areas though. Higher level towns (That is, further into the game towns) will provide higher level armours. The campaign you buy it in will determine the style of the armour. Collectors in the field can also provide new armour pieces. Any armour can be upgraded with Runes and Insignia. |

Winston - I would love to store my rice water in your xunlai chest... eh? EH!
- In seriousness - I vote for a kiwi district, not that there would be much difference. Come on, kiwi rocks. |

Your armor question makes me think that you haven't visited the wikis. We have two available
http://guildwars.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page and available in-game through F10 or help on menu or /wiki in chat bar http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Main_Page Your armor reaches a max level fairly quickly except in original Guild Wars (Prophecies) where you have to get a run to Droknar's Forge from Beacon's Perch to get max armor early. You haven't said which of the campaigns you are playing. Higher population places are Guild Wars - Ascalon City, Lion's Arch, Droknar's Forge Factions - Kaineng City, The Marketplace, Lutgardis Conservatory (HFFF) Nightfall - Kamadan, Sunspear Sanctuary, Remains of Sahlahja (Lightbringer/Sunspear point farming) Eye of the North - most towns/outposts have fairly high population wiki page for Elite Missions http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Elite_Mission wiki page for Dungeons http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Dungeon

i have GW: eye of the north
Yeah i kind understand about armour i was previously a wow player and am used to armour upgrading every 2 or 3 levels. wearing the same clothes all the time makes it smell. the wiki is a good dungeon guide but i guess most of it is level 20 stuff i did see a couple of dungeon like areas i saw pre searing but moved onto post pretty quick. i think i just need to look on a really big map of everywhere so i can see where the areas are. i am still hanging around the breach and fort ranik area havent strayed too far yet. i am really just playing till level 20 and see what that opens up maybe join a guild. I have noticed alot of lower groups around but mainly people are in the same guild running. will have lots more questions once i have finished a couple of the chain quests i am on they look like they lead to a bit of fun |

Kiwi player from Christchurch here. I noticed you talking about the latency. Its kinda a thing we have to suffer through, although I'm really hoping GW2 has some Australian servers (No chance of NZ I'd think). My Guild Leader plays in 80-120 ping while I'm in 300-400. Lameness :(
