"Rated" hero battle?
After checking the wiki I read that one must win 'rated' hero battles to earn points towards the title.
Question: How to get a rating and how long would it take? Is it by simply winning a few matches? I was never too interested in this mode of battle (never did ANY) but I'm curious. |

You can do rated battles right away. When you enter a hero battle, you will be asked to select between "rated" or unrated.
Playing a rated match will raise or lower your rating while unrated matches are for testing new builds or just for fun. |

As the other user said. After you get to the hero battle outpost and click on enter battle, you'll be given the option of rated or unrated. Then you wait till they match you with someone. Honestly, the matching system is a little off because it's simple to 'tank' your rating by deliberately losing many matches, so you end up being a good player against people who just started and have no idea how to play, and you can easily rack up commander points. That's a very common strategy, especially when a double points weekend starts up. Don't be too disheartened by losing a lot of games when you start out. I was terrible when I started, now I win a fair number more than I lose, and I only ever play on double weekends with my wiki hero battle build :P

lol, as you can see I never clicked the "Enter Battle" button.
I still don't plan to play it, I prefer team efforts, was just curious. Thanks for the answers. |
