Faction Question From Update - Guild Wars Forums

So i have already gotton r12 Kurzick and now im in a luxon guild, from the update i have 43k kurz faction (which i dont care about since i already maxed so it can burn

) and 34k Lux faction. when i try to donate the lux faction to my alliance the guy says "If you're not a friend of the Luxon Armada, I have nothing to say to you." Okey well im in a luxon guild and im r3 lux. how am i not a friend of the luxon armada.. can i not donate because im r12 kurz or because i have more kurz faction then lux? whats up with that? anyone else having this problem..

You have more Kurzick faction than Luxon. Thus you are a traitor and no one will speak to you until you get rid of the Kurzick faction. Or earn more Luxon faction until you have more of that.

Turning in your kurz faction will make you lose an equal amount of luxon so getting more lux faction is pretty much your only choice

hmm seems liek a flawed system because i have a larger kurz cap so i will have to spend all the lux and ill still have kurz left...oh well guess that answers my question, thanks

Not true Turin. You can also turn in your faction for Luxon skills or amber or passage scrolls, even if you have more kurzick faction. I suggest using it for skills since it has double points like donating.
