activation key problem plz help - Guild Wars Forums

i've just bought the gw:fc and i can't activate it because i only have 4 lines of activation code instead of 5 on the card. what should i do?

1. You can try to exchange it for a working game, from wherever you purchased it.

2. You can contact support at http://www.guildwars.com/support/default.php

Did you buy it at Game Stop by any chance?

They remove the cards from the games and sometimes fail to give you the correct one. The local Game Stop gave me only the music upgrade card for the collectors edition instead of the game key card. Make sure they gave you the correct card.

i bought it in an original package at the local software store and the problem is this was the last one they had in the whole country. i've already written to the community and waiting for the answer:S tomorrow i'll bring the game back to the shop and find out what to do.:S but i want to wait for arenanet's answer first. thx everything

Oh man, that really sucks. I had a trial key like that, I'm glad it was just the trial though.

go to where ever you got it and demand a working game!

or you can just contact support with darcy's link..but my way is more fun id say.

i've been to the shop and they gave me back my money just needed to fill in some forms. so i'm going to order it again^^ thx for the advices. (arenanet haven't written me back yet. i think they wont...)
