You need to do the "Terror in Tyria" quest given by Deras Tenderlin in Kamadan.

ya this too, have proph in your account, then do the quest suggested and then youll be in LA, you can also get a ferry but why, so ya...

the quickest way to do this if you don't feel like going through the game again with a new character is to simply get a ferry for tips or by paying 500g.
