Finally decide to try GW and bought the Guild Wars: Prophecies”. with the intention to add the 2 chapter soon

Bought it through digital download and while waiting for the download to complete , just want to say hello to everyone here

one thing cool here is that there are no monthly fees , so no worries on wasting
monthly fees like what I did with WOW ...which there are two months that I hardly play due work commitment

Welcome. YOu picked a good game, just late in its life.

A friendly reminder: this is not a WoW type game. You won't become godly with levels and expensive gear. Instead, think of it like this:
-you start as a rookie.
-you reach the maximum level - the maximum potential of a normal human. Now, the REAL life begins.

Yes, the "Official GW Wiki" is much better than the other one. Also, skill is also > time. You can spend 5 minutes or 30 minutes killing one boss depending on how you approach and react to a boss. I've gotten halfway through the game in 2 hours and the first time I played it, it took me a week to get through it, so skill definitely is much more important than how many hours you actually played the game (like WoW). I've seen players who have played for months that still suck, actually, based on what they brag about in public chat... :|

Yes I bought through the plaync and planning to add others chapter real soon ,

Nice to have Fire Imp and some bonus weapon

that come with the first purchase ..
