Skill Cap Title Qusestion
So I recently started playing again and have decided to go for my skill cap title when I have time to play. In the past I have used a few (like 2 or 3) Elite Skill cap tomes to get certain skills when I have been low on time.
So my question is this, does using elite skill tomes eliminate you from being able to obtain the elite skill cap titles? Because to the best of my knowledge you can not recap a skill that you already know. So for instance lets say I needed [Healer's boon] right away so I use an elite monk tome, now I can help my guildies do an urgoz run or something. Will I then not be able to achieve the skill cap title in Nightfall because I can not recap that skill that I already have learned? Hope that makes sense and thanks ahead of time for your answers. |

Every Elite skill you learn by using an Elite Tome will be added instantly to the different Elite Skill Hunter Titles.
So there is no difference in capping the skill yourself or using a Tome. You get a +1 on the title in both cases. |

Using Elite Tomes will count for the title. Since you have obviously played before you know that the elite tome is useless unless you have already capped the skill on your account with another character or if you used faction to unlock it. Either way you can use the elite tome to save yourself the time of capping and it will count for your title.
This title will take over 200k to max buying cap signets. With that being said I would sell the elite tome and buy cap signets with the money, unless its a skill you need right away. The tome will typically only save you about 5 minutes of actually going out and capping the skill, where as selling the elite tome could get you 5 to 10 cap signets. |

Using Tomes is rather expensive, and is only worth using is your trying to get a dificult skill to get such as Feast Of Corruption which can take large amounts of time to find the Wurm who has it.
