I want to Sack my Guild - Guild Wars Forums

Hey, I'm probably in the wrong section - But I am currently the owner of the Shadows of Glory Guild - I made this guild with aspirations all starry eyed etc. Tha was when I first played the game. since then I have changed chars and deleted the char I created the guild with - Does Anyone Know How I Can Leave The Guild Now??????

Sell the guild, or change another account to leader.

Not sure what you mean here. Do you just want to change your name, or do you want to disband the Guild?

If you are merely concerned about the name that shows up on the roster, you can only change that by leaving the Guild and rejoining. In order to do that, you would have to make someone else the leader, then leave the Guild, then get the new leader to invite you back into the guild and make you leader again. (As you can guess, there are trust issues.

)

To disband the Guild you simply need to kick all of the members first. Then you can shut it down.

Guilds are account wide, not character wide. Doesn't matter what character you created it on. If you're the last person in the guild, you can disband it.

The Leader does not have to be the person who created the Guild. Anyone can be promoted to Leader.

If the guild is still active and you want to leave, just leave. If you are leader, promote someone else and say goodbye.
