Which Proffession
Hey, I'm having trouble deciding on a main account. Currently my Ranger is my main. He's beaten NF and Proph and EotN, 2 elite sets of armor.
But he's getting boring. I don't know what proffession do play now. I like damage dealing+ shutdown, magic is fun too. I currently have a necro, monk, warrior, ranger, dervish, assassin, ele all lvl 20. PLEASE help |

Play em all see what u like..I had dervish as main char...also nice items, some titles, almost leg guard..but then got bored, took break, came back, and made an ele, got bored of it..probably coz i was farming 1 week for event items and glacial stones and gold items..anyway xD then made warrior, after like 8 days of playing, i realized that I like ele more, and now went back to my ele..and yes, i do like it more, so u just gotta play em all and see whats u like best

Sin is my main. Try to go with the monk or a ritualist. When I get bored with my sin i play an entirely different class to make things a little more interesting.

My main is a warrior, played her for months. After a while, made a derv and loved it, finished NF, EOTN and Factions, bought elite sunspear armor fully dyed black, and bought EVERY dervish skill for her, wasted in total nearly 200k to later find out that I was getting bored. Went back to my warrior. After a while, created a Necro and loved it, finished all campaigns with her, but as she was, got bored of her (learned from the first time and didn't wast money on this char), and ended up getting back to my warrior. Working on finishing NF with her and already started on the vanquish and protector titles, to later move on to the guardians.
So as you can see, you have to find out for yourself. Just don't do what I did and waste money on characters before you're sure you're going to stick with them |

Srsly, run Paragon. Most underused (next to mesmer, no need to point that out) class in the game, why?
Because people fail at level 7 when they realise its too awesome. Imbagon your way to happiness, for the betterment of the Guild Wars community and your account, create a Paragon. |

Warrior for the joy or Mesmer for the fun.

Unfortunatley nobody can help you choose
The reason is simply each person has there own way of fun/playstyle So you have front.... mid.... and back line chars and have been playing backline with the ranger So decide if you wish midline or be at the front with the ones you have and have a different approach...What is important is that ....you...have fun. Every class has its own playstyle as you know,so chop and change and have a crack at them all as realy the best way, That way every class you play is able to see eavery mission/dungeon ect in a different light |

I disagree...I think you should spend money on a character as soon as you can so you have that to resist the temptation to delete it for another character...because it sucks to delete that level 20 assassin because you got bored then find out later that you can do all kinds of stuff with Shadow Form and make lots o' cash. I went through 3 assassins, 2 necros, 3 monks, 2 warriors, 3 eles, three mesmers and 1 ranger before settling on my current lineup of one of each profession. I don't use all of them, but I MIGHT and they ALL have at least one set of elite armor and other things to make me think twice about rerolling them again. Different things get boring, so it's good to have a whole heap of characters with the ability to do many different things each so you can change up every now and then when you get bored. My warrior is my main character because I found it easiest to get decent stat max items for her when I wasn't "rich", then I got all the elite skills on the game on her in a weekend because I got bored of doing missions and junk, started my title hunting. I got 8 sets of elite armor over time so I wouldn't get bored with the same old look...get bored of elite glads, rune up my silver eagle. Get bored of that, rune up my elite kurz. Get bored of that, rune up my ancient. Make combos, re-dye with the spoils of assassin vaettir farming, change it up every now and then. Try new elite skills and builds around them, try new secondaries and new weapons. |

Well you shouldn't delete them when you get bored, I don't and don't have to waste a shitload of cash on them and never touch them again after that. Spent those 200k on my Derv and as soon as I finished EOTN with him, never touched him again he's just sitting there looking pretty in the character screen.
Another example is the monk with Elite Anciente (another 80-90k right there) wich I created simply for FoW/UW runs as healer. I've done about 4-5 runs and never touched her again and she could do just as well with the Istani armor I deleted not long ago from the chest, but in my rush to be all leet geared spent money on her to never use her again. That's why I say to not waste colossal amounts of money on a character before you're sure you want to stick with her, I have little less than 250k across all characters in cash, and if I hadn't spent all the money on my Derv I'd have around 400k on something I could spend for my Warrior. |

OK... another thing
Is it good to have 2-3 characters as a main? |
