I know this is probably a stupid questions but how do you get kurzick faction points?

Is it only from quests or can you kill monsters and get them?

There are a couple of ways (especially now).

You get kurzick faction for completing quests (several of which are repeatable).
You can get Kurzick faction for completing Kurzick storyline missions.
You can get Kurzick faction by killing things if you talk to the Kurzick priest at a res shrine and pay the 100g fee to buy the kurzick bounty.
You can get Kurzick faction from playing Faction themed PvP (Alliance Battles, Fort Aspenwood, Jade Querry).
You can get Kurzick faction for completely the Urgoz Warren dungeon/elite mission.
You can get Kurzick faction when you turn in your Shrio's Story mission book.
You can get Kurzick faction for doing challenge missions.

I think that's everything (but I might have left something out).

best way to farm faction fast is vanquishing

vFF s fastest but if you want some fun then try jade quarry. it's not too bad (if you can get around the leeches)

There are quests/AB/there are a couple of runs people do. I usually do Alliance Battles becuase they are fun to do but are sometimes cheap when the kurzick or luxon mob up. :P
