Getting a second character to Droknars Forge and lvl 20. Fast. [RESOLVED: Close]
I'm rolling a new character soon, and I havnt played GW in a while, so i forgot the method to getting a level 1 to Droknars Forge and then power leveling to 20.
I know you have to get runs, but where does the money come from? as far as im aware you cant transfer between characters Last edited by Sirugel Kai; Jan 18, 2009 at 12:27 AM // 00:27.. |

You can transfer between characters via storage, put the $$ from one character into storage, then withdraw from the other.

. Get to Lion's Arch first. You pick up Mox and the ability to get to Cantha and then Factions to get heros. Dunno which campaigns you have but if you have em..get heros!! A healer and Elementalist are also avail in Lion's Arch for taking the quest to get to EOTN. Leveling is SUPER fast once in Factions

Don't you mean you should get to NF to get heroes? You can only get 2 heroes in factions, but first you need to get to NF for one, and own the three games and be lvl 10 for the other... |

Remember to bear in mind, that if your character was born in Ascalon, and you run to Droks and level 20, you will not have the full amount of attribute points you can have.
Do get the other 30 points, you will need to get to the desert, and follow the one quest from Destiny's Gorge, then do the 4 desert missions, and then pick up the remaining 15 point quest from Droks. Only then will you have the full 200 attribute points. |

The only reason to get to Droknars Forge is armor. However, if you have Factions, Nightfall, or Eye of the North you can get max armor there and runs to get there will be easier to find and cheaper. Getting to level 20 is not hard, even in Prophecies where the quests offer lower experience amounts than the other campaigns. If you don't enjoy doing the quests and missions that would get you experience to reach level 20, then you really shouldn't be playing PvE anyway. Getting to Droknars Forge at level 1 will have you skipping 19 missions and a lot of quests. Those quests also provide skills. So why get power leveled at Droknar's Forge to go backwards and do quests in the Ascalon region as a level 20 with max armor to get skills? Seems you would be bored with them being so easy.
Getting to Drok's for armor is one thing, but the powerleveling I feel is a waste of time and money. |

It's easy to power level yourself at Droks with henchmen and scrolls. I don't know why people pay money for it. I did it with my ranger plus capped a boatload of elites in that area and got the character to lvl 20 fast. Then I went back and ran myself from LA to Sactum Caye, did the mission and went to the desert, doing all the missions there + the attribute quest.
