Drunkard Fast
Well I have not been playing for awhile and I was wondering If zone drinking still works?
But I heard that it was removed and no longer able to be used, but I was not sure So I checked wiki and looked at the guide to maxing titles http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Guide_to_maxing_titles It says map travel works, but it will cost more And if this Map travel does work how much alchohol would I need for the 10000? I am just wondering cause I want GWAMM fast. . . well -er |

Not sure if it works, think it does, but the reason why it costs more is because you have to keep bringing your drunkard to max, meaning every time you zone, you use either 5 1 minute ales or 1 5 minute ale and end up spending an extra 2 minutes per 3 on the title where by doing it the long way you would save probably dozens upon dozens of minutes - depending on how long you drink x)
If my math is right - and seeing how it is 6 am and I have yet to sleep, it probably isn't - then your really using 50000 1 minute ales instead of 10000-50000 (again, depending on your drunk lengths. However, if you only use 5 minute ales, and no one minute ales, there is no "cheaper" or "more expansive" way. Just faster. |

Drunkard
it been somewhat nefted, in some places you can still do it. I know because i am currently working on drunkard title and i've tryed it a few times. It all comes down to luck reallly. Also Pleikki is right as there are only 1 min and 3 min booze.

it works, i just maxed my title last night by doing so.
-map to sunspear great hall euro dis. -drink a spiked nog -wait for the minute to pass -map to gh -check title points to see if they were both added -if only the second point was added map back and forth till the 3rd point is added -map back to sunspear hall and start over. i was getting 3 points erry minute and 10 seconds ish. and both additional points were being added when i zoned to gh 4/5 times. my gh is corrupted isles btw. its not as fast as it was but still much quicker, i racked up over 1000 minutes last night.....cheers all. **NOTE: this method is only worth it, if your drinking spiked nogs or firewaters. unless you have an extreme overabundance of 1 pointers (will be wasting 2 errytime).** Last edited by komma; Jan 19, 2009 at 04:14 PM // 16:14.. |

Im sure hes talkng about LvL 1 and LvL 5 Drinks. A LvL 5 will keep you drunk for 5min, but it only gives you 3min for the title because you have to stay at lvl 3+ for it to count. So hes right in saying 5min drinks, youll stay drunk for 5min but only get credit for 3. Most people refer the them as LvL not Min |

To clarify: There are 5 levels of drunkenness. Levels 1 and 2 offer no benefit. Only Levels 3-5 add minutes to the drunkard title. Consequently, there are ales that are 1 level alcohol, and there are ales that are 5 level alcohol. Level 1 ales give 1 minute towards the title, but only if you are already at or above the 3rd tier of being drunk. Level 5 ales give 3 minutes towards the title, because they automatically raise your "drunk tier" to the max of level 5. As you decrease your "drunk tier" (which happens once every minute) you add a minute to your title. This happens with the drops from level/tier 5 to 4, 4 to 3, and 3 to 2. Tiers 2 to 1 and 1 to 0 do not add minutes to the title. So, essentially, both statements are correct, i.e.: Level 1 ale = 1 minute ale Level 5 ale = 3 minute ale Now that I've managed to confuse even myself... here's a link to the wiki page. They explain it better than I do EDIT: Curse you, Eragon!!! You beat me to it Last edited by Sin City Gamer; Jan 19, 2009 at 04:44 PM // 16:44.. |

Not when you are using the zoning trick. Drinking 5 of them will only credit you three. Ans since you zoned, you will need to drink 5 again.

I drunk way too many "single level" drinks (currently@~8500 minutes) and never lost a single one. Drinking 5 of them the very first time indeed "wastes" 2 of them, but that is expected. And that's the reason it is adviced that you should start drinking with a level 5 drink. But after getting my 3 "credited" minutes (using zoning) I always drunk 3 more "single level" drinks and NEVER 5 of them, which is obviously a waste of drinks. |
