Say I make the top 100 under the account name "Bob".

"Bob" is say.. #1.

If I change my account name to "Tom", but it doesn't change the #1 position to "Tom", will that cause me to not receive a prize.

not sure, but the obvious solution would be, dont change your account name before recieveing prize.

I realize that NOW, but I wasn't sure.

My ping has been 1,000 since winning so I haven't raced for awhile. Hopefully I can get another top 100 and it'll change my account name on the leaderboard or maybe it'll bump up my old account name so it still sees me as that account.

If it keeps a top 100 and I don't get a prize i'll contact support because I think in that instance I should legitimately get a prize.

once you reg your account you can't change for 30 days. Solved.

I didn't just register it though. I registered more than 30 days ago with a PvP char, and now I changed today AFTER hitting top 100.
