Help with Texmod?
First off: I did do searches. I found a thread with a similar problem made in the beginning of the month, but his problem got solved while mine wasn't.
Texmod gives me the "D'oh! Shit happened!" thing every time I try to load a mod. If I tell it to open GW it works perfectly, no problems. Its the second I add a mod into the picture that it freaks out. I tried with my anti-virus turned off (McAfee SecurityCenter), which is also my firewall. I went into Task Manager and closed it down, so that's not the problem. Hell, Texmod even has its own permission to run inside SecurityCenter, so I'm pretty sure there is no chance of it being the problem. Is there anything else I can do to try to get it to work, or am I doomed to live with the GW default UI forever? PS - I'm using Vista, if that has any correlation. |

You put the mods on the list before you open GW, you dont open anything after GW opens

I've never tried opening GW first then a mod - that's silly.
I just said that it opened GW to prove that it wasn't a faulty texmod. |

I got "shit happened" even when I turned off my anti-virus (which isn't recommended anyway). After I went to my anti-virus interface and added texmod to my exception list, it works fine now. I don't need to turn off my anti-virus either now.
