What happens if I add platinum release to Trilogy??
So, I just got the guild wars Trilogy. But, I also ordered the platinum release (prophecy + GWEN).... so, my question is what happens when I add the platinum release's access key to the trilogy installed in my computer? How many extra character slots do I get and will the GWEN now be combined with my trilogy?? Can I add just the GWEN to my trilogy and keep the prophecy from platinum as a separate account? I'm not sure if the platinum release comes with two access keys for prop and GWEN or just one for the both... Thanks in advance!!

i believe you will get access to all content, and you won't be able to have the overlap become a second account and you should get all 8(?) character slots. i'm not sure since I haven't done that.

The Platinum edition just comes with one key that is for both Prophecies and EOTN. The game will complain at you that you're adding access to content you have already (because of Prophecies), but will add EOTN to your account. You won't get an extra character slot or anything from it.
I bought the Platinum Edition and added it to my account even though I already had all 3 campaigns and it worked fine; just, as I said, the game informed me about adding content I had already. But it'll work. |
