best armor combination for male ele - Guild Wars Forums

okay.the truth is i am bored of all the armor sets in gw ...can anyone tell me a nice looking combination of armor for my male elementalist.?

well, I think male eles are pretty unlucky when it comes to armor.
sigh, my main just happens to be a male ele.
2 sets i have grown fond of are.
FoW (dyed silver or yellow) - with/without chaos gloves (depending if you want e-peen :P )
then either tinted specs, bandanna or mo zing mask.

the other set i like, which isn't as common is.

elite kurz dyed red, chaos gloves, black mo zing mask

Vabbian armor is nice enough, and not too expensive compared to FoW, chaos gloves, etc

Ancient or Monument...with destroyer gauntlets.

Obsidian Armor, Chaos Gloves and Slim Spectacles. Overdone but it's the only viable option in my opinion.

I dont have an ele, but Luxon armor looks pretty good (non-elite).

Elite Kurzick Robes
Elite Sunspear Gloves or Chaos Gloves if you're feeling rather nifty
Elite Canthan Leggings
Ancient Shoes

Had to do this for most of my chars because making big manly chars was cool at one point.

Depends of course on your style. Here's the combo I use;

- Tinted Specs
- Non-Elite Luxon Chest
- Ascalon Gloves
- Canthan Pants
- Shing Jea Shoes
- All dyed straight Silver

Keep wanting to get him an Elite set, but none of them look as good (in my opinion) as this combo does.
