(I'm doing this so I won't have to wait to download maps during runs and stuff to help prevent scamming.)

okay, on guild wars, i currently have 2.9GB in my Gw.dat file. I want to download ALL the game from 2.9GB to 3.5GB(basically all data). Will the -image work? I tried -image but it says this:

It worked for me, is it staying at 0%? or did you only open that for a couple of mins? - should be fine if you leave it for a while.

see if you can just get some disc instead... even old ones work. less to download instead of downloading nonstop.

Oh and BTW, My GW.dat file is 3.62gb and I only have Prophecies and EoTN installed (Nightfall files on it too but not all of Nightfall since I didn't have a disc). So it'll be more than 3.5gb

It takes a while to do it, depending on ur net up to 15hrs. I usually leave it on overnight and its at like 90% when I wake up, but thats from the start not from 2.9gb... not sure how long from then.

Me being in my 40's now..I used to do this all the time with my tape recorder!! I thought that 140 bites a second was BLAZING fast.

I once downloaded a game called "elite" for my Comm 64 that took an amazing 30 hours to download!! Good thing I had a second phone line and the power did not go out!!

No it won't. Even though you only have those two games the client has to download all the content so you can see other peoples armor and weapons etc that are from other games.
