Questions about mana steal(+3)?! - Guild Wars Forums

Hello

i always see warriors do mana steals at a rate of +3mana per hit
(in GVG battles), umm, could some one tell me how they did that? is it a enchant skill or from items..it doesnt seem to be from items though, since the max steal is +1/-en..

You sure it isn't life steal, from a Vampiric weapon (3/-1)?

Mana is Energy in Guild Wars btw.

They don't steal energy, they gain energy by using [warrior's endurance], thus gaining +3 energy/hit.

It goes the same for the zealous mod, you don't steal energy u gain it per hit.

P.S: In GW mana = energy

Derv skill? Using the well-known Tactics attribute of the Dervish, no doubt ...

Probably [fear me], though that's not energy-stealing, since the warrior isn't gaining it.
Or it could be a mesmer skill. There are several that could do what you describe.

None of which are run in GvG, not on Warriors anyway, neither is Fear Me.

It's either Warriors Endurance (Most Likely) which is a skill and not an enchant which is why you don't see it on the warrior.

Or it's the life stealing bonus from Vamp Weapons, which is health I know, but its possible the OP is confused =]

vir leto is correct.

[guilt] [shame] [power leech] [tease] are some of the only skills that "steal" energy. the rest either "drain" or "gain".

I really doubt, judging by the users question, his general typing style and his join date, that he actually means steals, I really wouldn't over emphasise that when trying to find the skill he is talking about.

Yes, Vir Leto is correct is saying that Warriors Endurance does not steal energy, however I would not rule out this skill just because of that and, to me anyway, it still seems like the most likely cause.

ohh i got it, i have no doubt that it is from the skill: warrior's endurance....i saw ppl use that in gvgs but never got the time to read the discription, since they spam alot of skills lol.
And i meant energy, will mana...hehe just use that cuz i play alot of other mmorpgs, most are called "mana" instead of energy.

For the steal part, i though the +3(purple color) is energy and +3(blue) color is healing hp, so i though it was energy steal, but it could also just be gaining energy(not steal) like soul riping, hehe my mistake on that part, never though of that...+3EN steal, wow how cheap is that hahah.

So so many dervish used this skill, so I thought it was related to a derv attribute line.

cheap indeed... it would take only about 10-15 or so hits to completely drain an opponents energy.

if i'm not mistaken, steal is always indicated by 2 ui numbers, the +x and the -x.
