Quest Items
When you do a quest in a party with another player and you both have a certain quest active that requires you to locate an item or something, do 2 or more items show up so you each can pick one up? or do you have to leave the area and come back as many times as needed to get everyone the item needed?
Is it like in Diablo II where it gives you 2 horadric (forget if thats the exact word for it) cubes if theres 2 players in co-op?? I dont see how you could possibly complete quests co-op if this is not the case...it would take so long and you would feel like you jsut did the quest many times... or is it completely different and a quest 'leader' picks up the quest items and everyones quest updates. Short answer: Yes.
The number of quest items which spawn is usually equal to the number of party members with the quest active. The only exception may be for quests that require you to collect X number of trophies. If you went with a full party and everyone needed the quest items, then you may have to zone again. Many quests involve only one item. |

If the quest requires a player to obtain an item to give to an NPC, then the required number of items will spawn.
If the quest requires using an item during the quest, then usually only one item will spawn and one person in the party will carry it around. Some of this type of item can be dropped during quest and some cannot be dropped or quest is aborted.
