the devourer mount is pretty cool. i like the skills and the power of it. the only bad thing about it is the fact that it forces u into 1st-person view, lol. it can get kinda annoying. especially since the devourers movements are quite jerky.

I don't know. I have tasted mandragors, skales, ibogas and drakes, but never devourers.

Yeah... Batter-fried, with butter-lemon sauce... Other than that, meh... Kind of aggravating, the way they pop up out of nowhere the way they do... |

Nothing beats them especially when you are playing a warrior thumping away on one for the first time since crossing from pre and wondering why it is taking so long to hurt it.
I would love different pets esspecially with skills |

For a moment, I was prepared to write, "It's not April 1 yet".
I like how the Siege Devourers look. But in general, they really have butt-ugly faces. Game-wise, I can't stand them. They popup all over the place in Prophecies just like scarab beetles. Popups are nothing but a huge annoyance in Guild Wars. They are overused as a gimmick to setup a cheap ambush. I can tell that they only exist to just slow down players from getting somewhere. ArenaNet stuffed them all over the chokepoints in the map so you can't just run past every monster spawn. As an aside, I noticed that ArenaNet likes inventing monsters that waste a lot of players' time. Like the Incubus in Eye of the North that just repeatedly fly down, then leave, then they repeat this (annoying) cycle over and over until you kill them all. Or how Margonites have that boring Abbadon's Chosen skill that is basically designed to annoy players, especially since they will often merge it with Abbadon's Favor for cheap infinite healing. |
