Character creation- names(NOT ASKING FOR NAMES) - Guild Wars Forums

Hey folks, first of all, I live in Europe. Now, i wanna make a character with JAPANESE letters, how is that possible? I already have a dictionary to translate whatever name i want, but when i try to create the character GW says that those letters aren't allowed. Any suggestions?

You can't. You can only create names with Japanese letters if you have a Japanese account.
The same goes for guilds.

You can try Services Offered or Giveaways in the Ventari section. I know people offer Asian guild tag service, where they name guild then transfer to you.

I don't see how you could get a name with Asian ideographs without having an Asian account.

They should really fix this, since Japanese accounts in can have japanese, english, or a combination of both if I'm right... if they can have that, why not everybody else?

thers no way as far as im aware unless you have a japenese account, dont see any way how you could get round this sorry.
