Does it work anymore ?
Hello,
It's been 3 years since I last played Guildwars :P So I was wondering does merchanting work anymore ? I used to merchant a lot in the past but prices have changed and new things came out so, What should I merchant on if you answered yes ? I have enough money to start with. I have another question, Is it possible to put like 2 faction campaigns in 1 Eye of the North ? E.G Putting 2 Guild wars faction CD Keys in 1 EotN ? Edit: I just had a question in my mind, Is it possible to sell a guild or something instead of just ditching it without gaining anything ? Thanks in advance. Note: I read the rules and I also read the FAQ and it said nothing about merchanting and am not asking "How to get money" as I know how to am asking on what to merchant on. Secondly, only one copy of any given campaign (or expansion) can be added to an account. Oh, and welcome back |

And the rare 'undeads' Mini's you are seeing are 'Undedicated' ones, as in not Dedicated in anyones Hall of Monuments. And not seeing people buying or selling an item is part of the game. What did you expect, seeing a person 'WTS Vizu for 2500e' and the minute after 'WTB Vizu for 3000e'? This way everyone would be Powertrading. The kind of trading you mean, is it just trading with merchants? Which you could do in the old days, and earn shitloads of money, just by buying and selling dyes to different traders.

Power Trading is not a profitable venture in most cases. You need rare items (ie high end farming drops). The game has been out for long enough that there is a glut on the market of good stuff that used to be worth keeping to sell, now it's just a waste of space in most cases. I used to power trade big time about 2 yrs ago.... now those items that would sell for a 5k each are going for 1k... if you're lucky..... other than high end items power trading is pointless imo - you can make far more money farming or running ppl now.
