Some Questions
I have a few questions,i'm kinda stuck.
1)I have about 41 inscriptions things that I am not sure what to do with. 2)I need to find out how to complete Turai's Story in Kamadan from the scribes. 3) I was also wondering if there was a town or outpost that offers more gold for what I am selling,or are they all about the same when it comes to selling stuff. Thanks S_S |

1) I would suggest you go to this page http://guildwars.wikia.com/wiki/Inscription for help on inscriptions. Depending on your profession and weapons, you may want to add them to your own weapons, or sell them to other players for 1-3k depending on if they are max inscriptions or not, or just sell them to merchant.
2)I would suggest you read this page http://guildwars.wikia.com/wiki/The_Battle_of_Jahai to get the walkthrough on that quest. 3) All NPC's buy goods for the same price in towns and outposts. The thing to be aware of is making sure you sell dye to dye trader, runes to rune trader and materials to either material trader or RARE material trader, depending on what you have to sel. The merchant will buy everything, but not give you as much as the other traders specific to that item. Once you get an idea of what things are worth, try selling things to other players. I would wait a bit til you become more familiar with the value of stuff before selling to other players though....... they can be ruthless This site has a great buying and selling thread to get you more up to speed on Guild Wars economy. |

a) If you are indeed talking about inscriptions (a lot of people mix them up with insignias), you put them on any weapon that's inscribable (that is, a weapon that either says "inscription: none" or has a little quote under its information. Be sure to check the inscription to see if you'll be able to apply it to your particular weapon (some can go on spellcasting weapons only; some can go only on shields and offhands, etc), and read the description to see if it's an effect you want. If you don't need it, save it to put on your heroes' gear or merch it (NEVER EVER EVER merch "Show me the money!" or
"Measure for Measure" as those are ALWAYS useful, the former on weapons you want to merch and the latter on weapons you want to salvage for materials). b)Equip Turai's sword and shield, then "read" the book (click on it). This should send you into the Bonus Mission. From there, you should follow this walkthrough if you need help: http://guildwars.wikia.com/wiki/The_Battle_of_Jahai c)Nope. Well, actually, you get discounts on items if you buy things at a merch in a town your guild owns, and it might work both ways (ie you might be able to sell for 25% more, I don't know), but anyway that's only in Factions and there're only like 8 towns that can be owned, so I'm assuming you're not in one of those alliances. The best you can do is stick a "Show me the money!" inscription on weapons you intend to sell; you'll earn a bit more money. Also, remember to sell items for which there are traders (materials and runes, basically) to their traders or to other people based on the going rates at the traders - you'll get a better value than merching them in most cases. |
