I was just wondering, since I came over from RuneScape. How much in GW Money is considered A LOT to you guys. If you have played runescape before, you could probably do something like this for me to help...

Runescape 1m = _?_?_?_ GW Money

I can do the math on how much more than 1m is if i can only have a little comparison for the two.

a useless question really. Depends on what you want to do with that gold.. 1mil is plenty for most needs.
If you go around chasing rare asian minipets you will need 50+++++ mils for just the entry imo :P

....what in the hell are you on about no offence. Did you even take time to read my question.. I said if you have played runescape in the past how much is 1m compared to GW money. And you are telling me it's a useless question and "Depends on what you want to do with that gold?" I either dont get what your saying or you are really off topic..

Its is relative. Some people in game think I'm rich when I say I have over 500K in storage, but I laugh inwardly when I know there are people out there with a million gold in storage and stacks of ectos. Of course had I not bought an elite set of armor for each character (or 2 sets) I'd be at a million or so too in assests. :-D

even between servers of games that haven't been globalized like GW, it is common to have diferrent rates...

But, well, if you want a random guess (ive never played Runescape) answering you question, I would say :

Runescape 1m = 100m GW Money

I had a lot, but even I couldn't have competed with all these new found wealthy people throwing around 50m on a mini. Ill gotten wealth is easily spent

1m Runescap is prob around 100k GW money. Last rate I seen with people trying to sell/trade runescape accounts for GW accouns

Let's see:

1M Runescape gold has a Real World value off about 2-3 USD.
1M GW gold has a Real World value off about 55-60 USD.

Hence, a 1-20 ratio seems fair. Let's substract a bit in the benefit of Runescape, and you got yourself a 1-15 ratio.

In other words, 1M in GW is about 15M in Runescape...

I used to play Runescape however I haven't played recently but since I last looked.

1M in Runescape = around 25-50k in guildwars...
at the most 1m runescape gold = 100k guildwars gold.

Of course, that could just be because RMT gold farmers are currently less popular in this game (since, due to all the more profitable farms are in some of the newer games and require people to own multiple games to run the build).

rich people have more money than what can be stored in their chest and on their charcter due to gold holding limitations. the truly rich people have stacks of ecto (trading material work bout 4.5-5k ea.), highly expensive items, and uber rare minipets that are also worth stacks of ecto.

Sorry about that, i'm usually nice. But when people give me a hard time on a question that, I dont think, is that difficult to answer if you have played RuneScape than I give answers like that.

Yeh so as others seem say, so 1milj gw = 30milj Runescape. and 1milj is not much money in gw, its what it takes get yourself armor(obbys), Real rich ppl have ~50milj+ to spent on someting useless like minis.

Guildwars isnt about being rich, they offer cheap armor that is just as effective as armor that is worth millions therefore there is no comparison.

The 1m = 100k is the closest I'd agree, a decent sum which takes a while to get but isnt exactly all that. But just to make other's point clearer, nobody cares if you have 100m, they'd rather see you with Full Bandos, AGS and a whip and DFS on you.
