KSMod safe?
Hey, I've heard about KSMod a while back when I was googling trying to find out a way to get the armor of players in outposts to show it's full detail. I've downloaded it from it's website:
http://www.pickupgroup.com/ksmod/ It's the one showed on the GW wiki. Anyway, I opened the file and I see a .dll to be loaded along with the game. That got me sceptical from the start since that's how some game hacks work, and dispite the website stating that Anet won't ban me from using it, the big red disclaimers made me think twice especially since I'm using to alter the game, not just a 3rd party like texmod. I'm not worried about worms or someone stealling my account, but I am about getting myself flagged as a cheater or anything at all that can result on my account beeing banned. So has ever anyone who used or still uses it had any problems with it, is it 100% safe? Last edited by kupp; May 02, 2009 at 10:38 PM // 22:38.. |

Been using it for months, no issues. It doesn't cause any change in client-server behaviors (unlike bots) so Anet can't detect it and they generally don't care anyways.

Wow. this mod makes a HUGE different. Why isn't there a "high-definition" option built-in?
