What are the numbers people keep putting with their offers?
When I put an item up for sale, people put up numbers underneath their offer.
Ones I have seen are: 12313413 11111111 etc, they always seem to be in groups of 8 (I think). What do they mean? |

Usually if it's just an offer for example
50e there's a 12 character minimum limit for posts, so many people will either write 12 chars or 12 characters or some gobbledygook to make up the 12 chars in order for their post to be accepted. |

Just for everyones personal knowledge, the limit is there to encourage people to write useful posts. In Sell/Buy/other trading areas it's an unintentional annoyance, but in other forums it prevents people from just saying 'fail' or 'lol'. While they could just put random stuff afterwards like you see in sell threads, it's a pretty good indication that it should be deleted.
