NCsoft account questions
I remember having a PlayNC account but everything seems to have changed now and I'd forgotten my account name.
So I made a new NCsoft account. I added my guild wars account to it and it's showing I only have prophecies I think (I have all the others), and the account type is 'standard'. Is there a problem with that? Do I have to dig up my serial keys and link ALL the gw expansions to this NCsoft 'master account'? Cheers. |

You don't *need* to no, but without the serials you will have trouble applying them to your account. For the free storage (I assume thats why you made one) you only need one guildwars account tied.

So there is no point in 'wanting' to link all the expansions?

If you're gonna try to recover your account you'll need:

/fail
If you do want to recover your old account though you can get it back off them. What you'll really need to include is: * Your account name * Your Name * Your home address * Some random letters of your password (say the 2nd and 5th) * the last 4 numbers of any credit/debit cards you made a purchase with Worked for me when recovering mine, but atm there isnt any reason to link all the expansions except for neatness |

The fail was aimed at your sarcasm. Q&A isnt a good place for a joke.

It's a little hard to find, but, there is a list of things NCsoft wants if you forget the name and password you used to connect to your GW account. Make sure you copy what you write before you click send because when I filled out the info, I got a page timeout and had to fill in the info again.
I finally remembered my NCsoft l/p to get the free storage. On the other hand, I found it really rude that they made me jump through hoops, just to get my free storage. This is not how you treat your customers who have purchased every chapter of GW. It would have been so much better, and easier, if we could have accessed NCsoft through the in game link. |

Eh we all know it was a way to get people to sign up for NCsoft accounts, even if it was a very nice way.
