Female elementalist armor?
My main is a female elementalist (i didnt care bout gender, my little sister wanted to customize her) and ive been happy wiht her. so i thought it was time to evolve past my red flameforged armor. I looked up elite armor on wiki, and was shocked to realize all of it made my ele look like a stripper! i really wanted primevil, but it has a practically nonexistant top! yes ima straight guy, i just want some normal armor! how is lingerie supposed protect my ele?

Armor in the game is not based on 'armor'. Warrior and Paragon it is, and to some degree Ranger does. Yet consider Necro with Scar Pattern armor, Monk with 'tattoo' armor, Mesmer with your real lingerie (Enchanters), and several other variations.
It is for the 'look' only. Even a Male Warrior with Elite Gladiator armor has less covered than a Female Elementalist with Tyrian armor. Whether you like the way it looks or not is a matter of opinion, but all classes and sexes have armor that is 'covering'. |

if you are looking to cover up your ele...ancient does that better than primeval, though the best 2 for all over cover are norn and (gasp I will mention it) FOW....
you are not also required to buy the whole set---I like the ancient top for the ele and the primeval bottom (its not too bad really)...and I have boots from another set and gloves from yet another---you can mix and match! you can also check out the screenshot section of guru for more ideas of mixing armors.

That's basically why I ended up getting fow on my ele. Not because it was uber leet, but well... it's the only one that I thought 'looked' like armor.

Every game seems to have that class that everyone likes to play cause of the breasts and revealing armor :P Ele just happens to be GW's favorite in that category.
There's plenty of armor/combos that are covering. Check the Post your Ele Thread if you need ideas. :] |

Fixed.
I have regular Kurz top and gloves with Ancient legs and boots as an armor set on mine. Covers nice and looks nice as well. | Nah. Little boys that play games to oogle girls need to get a life. | But sadly, it sells. V Last edited by Shadowhaze; Feb 05, 2009 at 01:51 AM // 01:51.. |

I liked Kerwyn's version better.
IMO elite canthan is the best, and that's what my el usually wares. |

Keep in mind that caster armor is "magic" and only looks like lingerie.
It is no stranger than ranger armor with things sticking out all over. So much for wilderness survival.

Hmm, armor for the modest ele. Good for you. Try checking out armor art to get an idea of armors and pricing. http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Armor_art The Asuran looks kinda nice imo. (below link) http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Image...rn_armor_f.jpg Fow looks great but it may be a bit pricey. Ancient is priced well, covers, and looks super. Her are your options:
tyrian, soem cleavage (available in factions and EotN) cathan and it's elite, no cleavage but a short skirt (factions) kurzik and it's elite, no cleavage but a short skirt (factions) ancient, which goes head to toe, but is tight around the bust area (nightfall) norn, some celavage (EotN) FOW, head to toe and it looks like armor (core) Some may suggest sing jea, but she is practically busting out of the top, and it has a short skirt. It is a well know fact that women in rpg exposse as much skin as possible as a defense, the skin is a distraction. |

Same here, I hate the belly dancer look you get, especially with the 1k and 15k sunspear, the primeval would be ok if it didnt have all the spikes (resembling a broken umbrella -_-).
Elite Canthan, Elite Kurzick, Elite Storm forged or Vabbian for the real Mage look. Ancient or Fow for the Armor look. Norn is quite nice also. The current combo I have atm is 1k kurzick top, Ancient gloves and shoes, and 1k Luxon skirt (yes its a short - ish - skirt but its actually longer then the kurzick, canthan, shing jea, ascalon, or both iceforged ones) Have a look in the elementalist screen shot section, people have some really nice combos, try them out and see what you like. I would say FoW if you can afford it.
Ancient if you want something cheaper. The fact that female elementalists looks and moves like promiscuous 'exotic dancers' is nothing compared to the male elementalists looking and moving like the worst stereotype of a 'loose-wrist', gay male. Someone really got to cast their favorite, adolescent archetypes when designing this character class. (Disclaimer: there is nothing wrong with being gay, 'exotic dancer', promiscuous or any combination thereof - and you will never hear me say otherwise. Judge not ...) |

I have Norn Armour which is quite nice
A second set which consists of kurzick 1k top and gloves and Canthan 15k skirt and boots which looks very nice if you want a bit more coverage you can go for Ancient bottoms or even full ancient. |

I like my Vabbian set. I think it looks nice without being too revealing. Yes, she has a bare midriff, but boobs are mostly covered.
