maps and people locations?
I'm almost certianly correct in saying this has been posted before, but.......I am a newbie and am wondering if there is a site I could go to to find maps to get thru some of these mazes and of the people that we must find.
I know with LOTRO we had that, didn't know if Guild Wars had something similar out there? Am really enjoying the game, all the way up to a lvl 11!!! Took me awhile to get there, but it was fun!! Thanks |

http://wiki.guildwars.com/ has maps for the locations of most NPCs (on each NPC's page), all missions where maps are relevant, and for many quests. Hitting F10 in-game brings up a help panel that's populated by a list of wiki links for your current quests & mission, recently encountered skills, etc., plus a search box. Basically, clicking on any of its links or using the search box will open your browser and send you to the wiki.

Ooooor you could use http://guildwars.wikia.com/ which is also good (the real GW Bible IMO). Generally, the info is the same, though in some cases we have better bug documentation and they have dev input. Mainly it depends on which layout you like (the Guild Wars Wiki skill pages bug me, and the armor pages are awful). I think GWW may have more maps, though.
I believe if you type /help ingame it links you to the Official Wiki, and if you hit Shift+W (iirc; I changed mine to Shift+Tab) in Guild Wars while XFire In-Game is enabled, GuildWiki will be the homepage. So either one is equally accessible without Alt-Tabbing. |
