So I'm working on my second set of obby armor
and I bought all the ecto today
But I don't really wanna shell out another 200k for all the shards

which brings me to

What do you think the fastest way to farm shards is?
I'm not asking for builds!

Farm fow beach this week for Nicholas. Keep the shards that drop, sell the gloom seeds to buy money for rest of shards

I was thinking about doing that
One of my guildies was doing it with a A/Me build, basically chamber.
It sucks though because I don't want to have to buy essence.

It there a way to do it in NM?
And is drop rate of gloom seeds and shards effected by HM/NM?

drop rate doesn't change, just killing rate. Just run a A/E perma sliver.

Warrior can farm the beach without even worrying about a secondary. It isn't super fast, but it works. An Obby E/Me can probably do it pretty easy with Sliver. And of course, you can always ise a 600/smite team. 600/smite can do a lot of FoW, not just some, so that may be the best bet for looking for Shards. And of course there is the Ranger solo build for the forest.

AoD D/Me is what I use for the beach, and it does fine, as long as you avoid the skales.

yeah, definitely beach this weekend. farm for shards and selling the gloom seeds will pay for entrance into fow after u run out of ur stockpile of scrolls. or u could do fow speed clears, fairly easy, shard drops throughout, guaranteed shard at end chest, chance for rare weps.
