This was just a glitched item found back at beta.it's pretty much a novelty item.

Do i hear a collector for 100k+15 ectos? XD

Yeah, i got 3 pms after i posted this of people looking to buy it. Weird, i wonder if i can auction it off since there seems to be people interested for some reason.

Basically, back when GW was still pretty new, when you salvaged, you could get anything (materials or hilts). For some reason, if you salvaged a staff that didn't have any mods, you could end up with a staff wrapping of... nothing.

But yes, its very valuable because there is no way to get them anymore.
Herbalizer, a big time collector, was once offering 1 million gold for one.

I wouldn't be surprised if you got a decent chunk of cash for it. People like to collect those old things like -50 health Major runes and all that.
